Tree 110 - Foamex

This was another tree that did not turn out as well as I imagined it would.  Foamex is a material that will bend when heated.  You heat it with a hairdryer or a heat gun and use some kind of former to bend it into shape.  You have to be careful because if you try to bend it too forcefully or you have not heated it enough it can snap.

This is where some careful planning can be your friend.  I didn't really plan out how I was going to bend this at all and so I didn't have any proper forms to help make the shapes I was trying to make.  This meant some of my branches snapped and others just didn't really budge into any kind of good shape at all.
