Tree 95 - Fan Fold Tree

This was one of my totally experimental trees.  That is, one I start to make without really knowing where I'm going with it or how it's going to look when it's finished.  I am really happy with the result I think this style or technique has a lot of potential.

Tree 94 - Glitter

Some trees are really fun because they really bring me back to a child-like state.  When I make a tree like this it is more like play and I feel the wonder and magic of the world that has been leeched away somewhat by the daily grind.  This is why I do this project so that I can make something, feel good about what I'm doing and find myself going "OOOhhhh!"

Tree 93 - Tinfoil

Some 3D fun with that trusty craft classic - Tinfoil!

Tree 92 - Mirror Mosaic

OOhh Shiny!

Tree 91 - Glow in the dark paint

This is another one of those times when my flimsy photography skills frustrate.  This paint glows in the dark but I couldn't get it to show on camera.  Doh!

Tree 90 - Line Doodle

A wee doodle with some curvy lines.  I quite enjoy doodle trees.  On those occassions when I am working long hours I will probably do more of these kind - maybe a bit more abstract.  I like the fact that when I have a break I can do a doodle tree and still feel really creative.

Tree 89 - Tiny tree hanging

Tree 88 - Tissue Paper on Wire

I like this effect this might work well for a stop motion animation.

Tree 87 - Cookies

Ok, so cooking is not one of my strengths.  I tried to make two batches of these and they just didn't come out right - always cremated.  I wouldn't mind but I was using pre-made dough.  I know, I know I must hang my head in shame.

Tree 86 - Fusible Beads

I spotted these guys in a pound shop and snapped them up.  It's funny how you begin to see potential material everywhere when you start a project like this and the pound shop is a treasure trove of potential.  I really like how the tree stands up as well.

Tree 85 - Toilet Roll Cutout

This one was tricky.  I didn't think it would stand up after I had cut so much away but amazingly it did.  Then I had the bright idea of painting it, making it all wobbly and floppy but once it dried off it regained its standing (mostly).

Tree 84 - Business Card Cutout

I had taken some time out from posting that was needed.  Some things were getting too much, so I took a break.  I have a lot of trees to post.  I will try and catch up in the next few days and then hopefully keep on top of them as I go along.  Never fear though my posting might be lackadaisical but I have by no means given up on my 365 project.
